Once installed, the yellow 9146-302 IntelliSense lithium pack runs a daily self-test, so the Powerheart G3 reports its own readiness and flags a fault before an inspection does. It is non-rechargeable and backed by a four-year manufacturer warranty. Note the colour: the G3 range also uses a white 9146-301 pack, and the two are not interchangeable across every model — check the label on your unit before ordering.

The reason for the loss of two stars: These things have a useful life of two years, which is understandable, given the nature of the product, and the necessity of adhesives (for the skin) to not be dried out. I'm OK with that. The problem is that the two adult pad replacements I ordered on 6/20/24 have an expiration date of 12/19/25. I lost 25% of the useful life of the product...before I even received it.
