Energy Delivery
Delivers an impedance-compensated biphasic truncated exponential shock — 150 J for adults, 50 J for children and infants (nominal into 50 ohms). Charges in 4 seconds or less once a shock is advised.
CPR Feedback
Paces compressions with a built-in CPR metronome, backed by voice prompts that talk the responder through every step of the rescue.
Pediatric Mode
Switch to child/infant pads (DDP-200P) for patients under 8 years old or under 55 lbs (25 kg); the unit then delivers 50 J instead of 150 J.
Battery & Pad Life
The DBP-1400 battery carries a 5-year standby life and supports 125 shocks or 8 hours of continuous operation. Adult DDP-100 pads stay pre-connected and ready.
