End of an era. The FR2 became the ‘standard’ and for the British army medics and was (rightly) considered bomb proof. I had the (unexpected) ‘honour’ of accidentally driving an AFV 432 (for the uninitiated a tank with no main gun) over one of these in Iraq, which worked absolutely fine afterwards. I can only hope that the FR3 fills the bots of its predecessor.
