Greetings! I’m a native Virginian and although I’ve lived in the City of Richmond for 16 years, I’m a true country boy at heart. My wife and I are blessed to have a wonderful little boy who keeps us very busy, and a nine-year-old Cockapoo named Sally Ann Cavanaugh. (I will give one crisp dollar to the first person who tells me the origin of her name!) My biggest passions in life are playing the guitar & spending time on the water. To my detriment, I’m a HUGE fan of Redskins Football, but I’ve been lucky to cheer for both UVA and VCU’s Basketball programs deep into March over the past few years.
I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in with a degree in History in 2004, then began my career with a startup in an incubator program at VA Tech. After 5+ years, I moved on to medical sales, starting as an ER-based Spine Rep then moving onto the AED Industry in 2012. As an AED Specialist and Territory Manager, no two days are alike, but the goal is always the same: Designing, Implementing, and Maintaining Heartsafe programs to save lives.
