AED IP Ratings

AED IP Ratings

IP ratings, also known as ingress protection ratings, are a standard of measurement that shows the degree of environmental protection an electronic device has from dust and water. The higher the IP number, the greater the dust and water protection an AED will have. Learn more about ratings–and what to look for in the chart below.

Chart shows a graphical representation of the size of dust or solid object particles the AED is protected against, as well as the types of moisture it can withstand. Note If an AED has an X rather than a number, it means that the defibrillator has not been rated in that category.

To view IP ratings for each AED, simply go to the product comparison feature on our homepage.
