Provides Good Samaritan protection for use of an AED and establishes guidelines for AED programs.

S 2452012Requires commissioner of education to inform school administrations about resources regarding CPR and the use of AEDs. Also requires the commissioner to provide reports containing data of schools that are offering CPR and AED instruction.
HB 34 2009Revises
the Good Samaritan protection by removing the training requirements and
removes the requirement to maintain a relationship with a physician to
provide technical assistance and consultation regarding the AED use.
SB 2832000Provides requirements and immunity for use of an automated external defibrillator.
VT Stat 12 V.S.A. § 519.1968 Grants Good Samaritan protection for UNTRAINED users.
